There were seasons where I found myself folding clothes at 10 p.m., answering blog emails at midnight, then waking up at 5 a.m. to prepare breakfast. I thought “rest” meant laziness. Now I know that rest is fuel. Rest is strength. Rest is what keeps our homes running well.
